Ghandiyal Temple in Khirsu, Uttarakhand

Ghandiyal Temple is a famous ancient temple located in Khirsu of District Pauri Garhwal. This famous temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is situated in the middle of a large park. In this temple, usually, God is offered turmeric. It is absolutely forbidden to bring any type items of red colour in this temple. A Ghandiyal fair is organized every third Monday after Vaisakhi every year in this temple. For the darshan of this temple, devotees come from far. This temple has a great religious significance. Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of heavy rains threatening landslides.
