Triyuginarayan Temple Sonprayag Uttarakhand

Triyuginarayan Temple is a famous religious temple located in Sonprayag of Rudraprayag district. The Triyuginarayan temple is a holy and mythological temple. It is mentioned in the Vedas that the Triyuginarayan temple was established in Tretayug. It is said about this temple that it is the auspicious marriage place of Lord Shiva and mother Parvati. Fire is burning from within the temple for centuries. By witness assuming this sacred fire, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati had married. Therefore, the name of this place has been called "Triyugi" meaning that fire is burning from three eras. In the marriage of Shiva Parvati here Lord Vishnu followed all the rituals in the form of Goddess Parvati's brother. While lord Brahma became a priest in the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The venue of the wedding venue is called Brahm Shila, which is situated right in front of the temple. Before the marriage, all the Gods take a bath, so here are three kund, which is called Rudra Kund, Vishnu Kund and Brahma Kund. The havan kund situated in the temple continues keeps burning. People take the ashes of this kund on the head, whom people accept as offerings. According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Sati had taken his second birth as Goddess Parvati. To get Lord Shiva, she performed harsh austerity. Being pleased with his harsh austerities, Lord Shiva became ready for marriage with Goddess Parvati, and Triyuginarayan is the same place. This temple has a great religious significance.
