Purnagiri Temple in Tanakpur, Uttarakhand
Honestly, Purnagiri Temple (perched on Annapurna Peak at an altitude of 923 meters) is one of the most sacred Shakti Peethas in Northern India. Located near Tanakpur in Champawat district, it is believed that the navel (Nabhi) of Goddess Sati fell here during Vishnu's Sudarshana Chakra Tandava.
The Holy 3-Month Purnagiri Mela
Every year starting on Chaitra Navratri (March to May), the temple hosts the famous 3-month Purnagiri Fair. Over 25 lakh pilgrims scale the hill to offer prayers, red chunri, and coconut at the holy shrine.

- Trek Trail: A 3 km paved stone staircase trek starting from Thuliigad / Bhairav Temple base.

Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of rains.
