Charan Paduka Badrinath Uttarakhand

Charan Paduka is a beautiful and holy rock, in which there are imprints of Lord Vishnu's feet. This holy place is situated about 3 km from Badrinath, which attracts pilgrims, millions of pilgrims come to darshan this holy place.

This holy place is located at an altitude of about 3380 feet above sea level. It is believed that when Lord Vishnu came down from the Vaikunth, he put his first step here, whereby his footprints were the printed on this place.

His footprints are still present in this place, which is why this place is known as Charan Paduka.

Charan Paduka can be reached by 3 km trek from Badrinath. The route towards Charan Paduka is on the left side of Badrinath temple.

Best Time To Visit:-

The best time to travel to the Charan Paduka is between from the months of September to November and April to Jun. Travelling here in these months is the best and enjoyable. In the winter season, the journey of here is closed for 6 months.

During the winter season, the weather of here is cold. Due to heavy snowfall in the winter season, the temperature of here goes down very much.

Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of heavy rains threatening landslides.
