The Garjiya Devi temple is a famous temple, which is located about 100 km from Corbett and about 14 km from Ramnagar. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Due to Giriraj being the daughter of Himalaya, Goddess Parvati also known as named of "Garjiya". This holy temple is situated on the top of a huge rock between Koshi river. It is believed that first of all, forest officials and local residents saw the idol of Goddess Mother on this hillock. It is said that near the rock, the Mother Durga's vehicle, Lion was do terribly roaring. At present this grand statue of Garjiya Mata is installed in the temple, along with this, the statues of Mata Saraswati, Ganesh and Bhairav are the centres of attraction in the temple. There is a temple of Lakshmi Narayan also in the temple premises. To reach the temple from Koshi river, about 90 stairs has to climb.
