Bhalu Dam in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand

Bhalu Dam is a beautiful small dam located in Ranikhet. There is a small lake on the dam. This dam is 3 km away from under the gardens of Chaubatia of the Ranikhet area. This dam was developed by the British Government in the year 1903. This dam was built by the British Viceroy as a source of drinking water for soldiers almost 200 years ago. Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of heavy rains threatening landslides.
