It is the last human habitation centre for tourists travelling to the Hemkund Sahib and the valley of flowers.
Ghangaria is located at the Sangam of the two rivers Bhyundar Ganga & Pushpawati, From where Lakshman Ganga is emerges and Later, in Govindghat, it meets in the Alaknanda river. It is the final human dwelling in the Bhyundar valley. This spot is normally used by tourists as a base camp to tour Hemkund & Valley of flowers.
