Milam Glacier is a famous glacier located in Munsiyari of Pithoragarh district. Milam Glacier is the largest glacier of the Kumaon area of Uttarakhand state. This glacier is situated at an altitude of about 5,500 meters above sea level. This glacier is the main source of the river Gori Ganga. This glacier is on the slope towards the south of the Himalayan range. The journey of here was closed in the year 1962, which was later reopened in the year 1994.
