Thamri Kund is a beautiful natural lake located in Munsiyari of Pithoragarh district. It is a perennial lake, which is one of the most fresh water lakes in the entire area of the Kumaon Valley. This lake is surrounded by alpine grass and dense forests. It offers a spectacular view of the snow-covered Himalayan peak and the Panchchuli peak. To reach the lake, it takes about 4 hours to travel by trek. Many musk deer are also found in this place. This Kund has a great religious significance.
