Snow View Point in Nainital, Uttarakhand

Snow View Point is a popular beautiful spot located in Nainital. This spot is situated at an altitude of 2270 meters above sea level. Here can be reached by cable car (ropeway). This spot offers spectacular views of snowy peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul and Nanda Kot. A magnificent view of Naini Lake and Nainital city can be seen from here. To provide a beautiful view to tourists on here, the telescope has been installed at this place. From this telescope, tourists can see snowy peaks and beautiful surroundings. On here, a small temple made of marble stones is also present. In this temple, pictures of other Hindu deities like Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva, Mata Sita, Lord Rama, Lakshman and Hanuman have also been established. The Gandan Kunakyop Ling Buddhist monastery located next to this spot can also be visited. During the trip to Nainital, tourists visit the Snow View Point. Best Time To Visit

The journey of Snow View Point can be done throughout the year, but the best time to visit here is between the months of October to May. Travelling here in these months is the best and enjoyable. During the winter season, the weather of here is cold. Due to snowfall on the surrounding hills in the winter season, the temperature of here goes down very much. Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of heavy rains.
