Package Details

Char Dham is the popular holy tour toured by lakhs of devotees every year. Established on the great Himalayas of Uttarakhand, Char Dham yatra complete later the visit of four Hindu pilgrimage destination – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath. This 12 days Char Dham pilgrimage trip from Mumbai offers divine darshan of all four shrine with suitable accommodations & facilities in among the Char Dham yatra.

Package Itinerary

Day 1: Mumbai – Haridwar

You will be transferred to railway station in Mumbai to board the overnight train to Haridwar. Overnight stay on board.

Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot (210kms/7-8hr) HT : 1352 MTS.

Drive to Barkot by Mussoorie, en-route visit Mussoorie Lake & Kempty Fall. Later drive through to Barkot, check-in to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in  Barkot.

Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot {36kms drive & 6kms Trek (one side)} HT : 3291 MTS.

Early morning, Drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, trek start from hither to Yamunotri (6kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at personal cost. The trek reaches into the lush green valley, an abundance of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti & several varieties of Himalayan plants.

Arrival Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth & dipping it in the warm water of the warm kund. Pilgrims get this cooked rice house as “Prasad”. Hither near the temple “Pooja” can be offered to Divya Shila, Later becoming bath in Jamunabai Kund’s recommend water & having “Darshan” of divine “Yamunaji” returning to Jankichatti. Return back to Barkot, Overnight stay at the hotel.

Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur established the temple in the 19th Century. At Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth & dipping it in the warm water of the Tapt Kund. Pilgrims get this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. Hither near the temple “Pooja” can be offered to Divya Shila.

Surya Kund: There are a Plenty of hot springs near a temple, which flows into various pools. The most famous of these is Surya Kund.

Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr) HT :1352 MTS.

Morning breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check-in hotel. Evening visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. It is located in the center of the city. A massive iron trident, characteristic of divine mother’s, is built & worshiped from time traditional at the temple complex. 

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100kms/3-4 each side) HT : 3048 MTS.

Early morning drive to Gangotri, en route at Gangnani, get a sacred dip in Hot Kund, further drive to Gangotri via excellent Harsil Valley. Harsil is popular for its natural beauty & for the majestic scenes of the Deodar trees & mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, get a holy dip in the divine river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Make Pooja & Darshan, after that relax for some time in the beautiful surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

Gangotri Temple: The temple was constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century, is located on the right bank of Bhagirathi.

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr) HT : 1319 MTS. Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via

Moolgarh & Lambgoan. En route you can see the lovely river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive adjacent the river to reach Guptakashi, evening visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check-in to the hotel in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Guptakashi:- The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were exploring for a glimpse of Shiva, Shiv Ji first concealed himself at Guptkashi but later escaped from them greatly up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally made their wish fulfilled

Day 07: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30kms by road & 19kms Trek)

Early morning departure for Kedarnath Dham. Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan & back to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kedarnath.

By Trek: Morning our driver will leave you at Sonprayag then you have to take the local jeep for Gaurikund and then trek strat for Kedarnath Ji.

Kedarnath: The Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a beautiful place located, next to the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after becoming won over the Kauravas in the Kurukshetra war felt evil of having killed their own brothers & sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He escaped them repeatedly & while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. 

Day 08: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19Kms Down Trek & 30kms/1hr by Road)

Morning Pooja & Darshan, after check-out from the hotel, start your trip back to Sonprayag. Drive to Guptkashi hotel for night stay.

Day 09: Guptkashi – Badrinath (215kms/7hr) HT : 3133 MTS.

Morning breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check-in hotel. Pilgrims later becoming a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahma Kapal is significant for Pind dan Shradh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is another attractive sightseeing place like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Matamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund & the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the 3 km of Badrinath jee. Overnight stay at the hotel in Badrinath.

Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian hamlet before Tibet.

Vasudhara: As the name implies, Vasudhara is a beautiful waterfall. This spot is 5 km. from Badrinath out of which 2 km. is motorable up to Mana.

Bhim Pul: On another side of Mana village, a massive rock appearing a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a panoramic view of water rolling down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have written the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (160kms)

Morning breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Visit on the way Narsingh Temple in Joshimath later drive back to Rudraprayag. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Haridwar (165kms/5-6hr)

Morning breakfast, drive for Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh ‘place of sages’ is a famous spiritual city on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by a Shivalik area of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God arrived by the name of ” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Temples and Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla. After return to Haridwar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12: Haridwar - Mumbai

After Breakfast transfer to Railway Station / Airport time to take your Train/Flight for Mumbai.
