Bharat Mata Temple is a famous temple located in Haridwar of Uttarakhand state. This temple is an 8-story building constructed at the Satasarovar place on the banks of River Ganga in Haridwar. The idol of "Bharat Mata" is established on the first floor of this building. This temple was constructed in the year 1983 by "Swami Nityananda Giri Maharaj". Bharat Mata Temple is also called "Mother India Temple". This temple of Bharat Mata is dedicated to those saints, women and braves, who have contributed immensely to the cultural, spiritual and social life of the country. This temple, by giving the form of an idol of the historical gems, made in their memory. Which are called the pride of our country and whose names have been written in the golden letters of history. All the idols set in the temple has been created very beautiful ways. A map of India has been made from sand in Bharat Mata Temple and this map decorated with red, blue light attracts a lot.
