Guchupani or Robbers Cave in Dehradun, Uttarakhand
The Guchupani or Robbers Cave is a favourite picnic spot located in Dehradun. This place is situated near Anarwala village, about 8 km from Dehradun city. Robbers Cave is locally known as 'Guchu Pani'. It was believed that after the theft, the robber used to go to hide in the Guchupani, hence the British named this cave as the Robbers cave. The cold streams and natural beauty can be enjoyed within the cave. The water of the small river flows between the caves. If you go a little further through the stream of water within the cave, then you can also see a beautiful waterfall of water. Guchupani is one of Dehradun's most popular picnic spots.
